If you are reading these lines, it is because you are interested in the world of Safir, or at least curious to know a little more. This first article is here to explain how I want to develop the story and give you some keys to getting started. Think of it as a tutorial, with no direct connection to the rest of the story. The majority of cards in the game have a story or event linked to them. To expand on this, I've chosen to share with you each week an article focusing on a map from the game. Think of it as a series of short stories to develop the story. Each card is a piece of the puzzle. However, to understand all the links, the subtleties and the issues, you will have to succeed in bringing all the cards together so that they form a single piece. Articles will not be presented in chronological order relative to the story. Each card will convey its message and emotions without worrying about what comes before or what follows. Some cards will be particularly important to the story, while others might seem more anecdotal, but they are just as essential to understanding the universe in which the characters evolve, etc. By putting all these elements together, it will be up to you to succeed in understanding and interpreting these small details as you see fit.
Although the basis of the development of the Safir universe is through these articles, I intend to gradually diversify the media to share this with you. Thus, it is not excluded that I provide more information on this or that card via other communication channels at my disposal (social networks, books, Discord, video games). Additionally, in the future, I would like to offer you the opportunity to participate in choices regarding certain events or certain cards. You will therefore have to remain attentive to the communication surrounding the game so as not to miss this opportunity.

Feel free to take a look. I designed this universe as something participatory, which should not be experienced alone in one's corner. That's it for this little introduction. The first article in the SAFIR story is already available: It is not linked to any map and serves more as a prologue. I will post the second one next week and it will deal with Shaheen, the Eternal Chosen who has the right to a deck in his honor for this season 1.
