Goal of the game

The goal of the game is to be the first player to reach 20 victory points.

1. Playmat

The game mat is divided into three parts, each representing a territory.

You can play up to three fighter cards in a territory and have up to three permanent magic cards.

All cards destroyed in a territory are placed in the territory's discard pile. Each territory therefore has its own discard pile.

At the bottom you will find the summon points and victory points, which you can easily calculate using the tokens provided with the game or by using coins as tokens.

Place your deck on the right side of the mat.

2. Map overview

On the top left are your card's attack points, while on the right is its defense. In the middle you will find the summon point value needed to play this card.

The effects of the card are shown in the yellow box, while further down you can find the class of the card and finally its name.

Magic cards have neither attack nor defense; they are placed, activate their spells and are then sent to the discard pile, unless the spell remains active for several turns. In this case, they remain in the territory concerned.

Atk = point d’attaque
Def = point de défense

3. Start of the game

Build your deck with 30 to 40 cards.

The players exchange their decks so that each one shuffles that of the other.

Randomly determine the first player, whether by a coin toss or by another means agreed upon by the players.

Each player initially draws 5 cards.

The first player starts with 3 summon points, while the second starts with 4 points.

4. Progress of a tour

The player draws a card

Summoning phase: The player summons the cards as much as he can with his summoning points and places them on his field.

Only 3 cards can be placed per territory, if a player wishes he can banish a card from the field to summon another instead, the sacrifice will offer a summon point to the player only in the case where the card is replaced by another, this summoning point will be accessible this turn and can be used to summon a card.

The card will go directly into the false territory.

Action phase: The player activates the effects of the card he has just placed and can attack the opponent with all the cards on the field. (Cards can attack directly after being played)

To destroy a card, the sum of attacks made must be equal to or greater than the defense of the attacked card. (You can combine the attack of several cards on a single card but you will no longer be able to use these cards during the same turn)

When one of your cards attacks, if the opponent's attack is greater than or equal to the defense of your card it will also be destroyed. If you made a combined attack and several of your cards have a defense less than or equal to the attack of the opposing card, choose one of your cards and destroy it.

During the game phase, do not forget to take into account any possible penalties still in effect on the opponent's field.

Once a card dies, it goes to the false of the territory where it was played.

5. Victory Point Count

Victory points are obtained by dominating the territory, that is to say that if the summoning value of the cards gathered on a territory is greater than that of the opponent on the territory opposite it,

If a territory is dominated, the dominant player gains 2 victory points. And the dominated player gains 1. If it is total domination (no other cards in the opponent's territory) he gains 2 victory points and the dominated player gains 0.

In the event of a tie in a territory, both players share 1 victory point.

Finally, if a territory is completely empty on both sides , 0 points for both players.

To know if a territory is dominated, you must count the sum of the summoning points of each card present on a territory.

Please note: Your hand cannot exceed 6 cards, if you have too many after drawing you must discard them in one of the territory boxes. It is possible to put different cards in the false ones. To end up only having 6 cards

A player's victory points are calculated at the end of their turn.

6. Summon Point Count

To gain summon points, it is exactly the same mechanics as for victory points, with the same calculations and the same conditions.

If a territory is dominated, the dominant gains 2 summon points. And the dominated gains 1. If it is a total domination (no other cards in the opposing territory) he gains 2 summon points and the dominated 0.

In the event of a tie in a territory, both players share 1 summon point. Finally, if a territory is completely empty on both sides, 0 points for both players.

In addition, from the second round, each player gains 2 summon points at the start of their turn.

Unlike Victory points, summoning points can be spent. You must therefore imagine that you have a bank with your summon points, which fills up more and more each turn and it is up to you to manage your points to play your cards.

Conclusion
